How Cortex IQ works, with the timeline agreed before we start.

Every project starts with the same diagnosis. From there, the pace depends on what you hired: a PoC has a fixed timeframe, strategic advisory is continuous. This page puts both in one place.

What is Cortex IQ's Cyborg Architecture?

Cyborg Architecture is Cortex IQ's working model: people set the direction, the success criteria and the decisions, while AI agents execute the repetitive, high-volume part of the process, always with a person accountable for reviewing, correcting and taking over the case when the AI cannot resolve it.

  • Humans decide: the goal, metric and limits of every automation are written before day one.
  • AI executes: agents and models handle the volume, with a record of what they did.
  • Hand-off with context: whatever the AI cannot resolve goes to a person with the full history.
  • Continuous measurement: cost, quality and speed sit on the same dashboard, before and after.

The starting point, on any service

01

Diagnosis

We look at your systems, data and processes as they are today and point out where the operation loses time or money.

02

Plan

A roadmap with what comes first, who owns each deliverable and how we'll measure it.

03

Implementation

Short deliveries, each one checked with your team before the next.

From there, five working models

Each offer has its own rhythm: some have a fixed deadline, others are ongoing advisory.

PoC Factory

3 to 6 weeks, fixed deadline

To validate a technology hypothesis before investing in a full project.

  1. 01Hypothesis definition — Identifying the problem and success criteria.
  2. 02Building the PoC — Implementation on AWS or Google Cloud.
  3. 03Validation — Testing with real or simulated data.
  4. 04Decision Package — Executive report recommending scale, adjust, or discard.

CTO As a Service

Weekly, ongoing, starting with a 30-day assessment

For companies without a full-time CTO that need someone accountable for the engineering team, the vendors and technology spend.

  1. 0130-day assessment — Code, architecture, vendors, cloud and team reviewed, with a written technical report.
  2. 0290-day roadmap — Technical priorities tied to business goals, each with an owner and a deadline.
  3. 03Weekly leadership — A working session with the team or the vendor, plus an async channel in between.

MVP As a Service

Paced by the fundraising round

For those who've already validated the idea and need a functional product for investors.

  1. 01Scope refinement — Only what you need to validate the idea and raise. Everything else waits.
  2. 02Lean architecture — Frontend, backend, and basic infrastructure, ready to evolve.
  3. 03Demo-ready UX/UI — Experience polished enough for investors and first users.
  4. 04Pitch-ready — Functional product that sustains the conversation with VCs.

Governance As a Service

Weekly, ongoing

For growing companies that need to standardize decisions before the lack of process becomes a risk.

  1. 01Governance diagnosis — Mapping current processes, decisions, and technology risks.
  2. 02Standardization — Single criteria for choosing technology, vendors, and processes.
  3. 03Ongoing follow-up — Weekly sessions for real decisions.
